Notes

The Greek YPEN geoportal services (geoportal.ypen.gr) are served over plain HTTP only — they are not accessible from HTTPS pages due to mixed-content browser restrictions. WMS and WFS queries from the web interface will not work. Use the API endpoints directly over HTTP, or via a server-side proxy.

The WFS uses GGRS87 / Greek Grid (EPSG:2100); bounding boxes are reprojected automatically from WGS 84. Features include protected sites (Natura 2000, CDDA), flood hazard zones, river basin districts, bathing waters, and species distributions. Ref: YPEN geoportal (Ministry of Environment and Energy).
